RKDrumdude steps out from the backstage and approaches the podium and speaks;
My blood is red white and blue. Not because I served in the Army for four years..not because my father and father-in-law served in the marines...not because of the war in Iraq..not because I don't care for politics..I am an AMERICAN with a capital A.
So many people who are AMERICANS bash the USA. I saw a bumpersticker the other day that read BUSH and the S was a swastika. C'mon people he's just a man that represents our country on a level we don't understand...do you really think he's not influenced by......everyone?
I strongly believe that if he had known it would be like this he would've have done what he has.
I don't like the war in Iraq but you know what? It's my country...I live here with my wife and kids.....we have it pretty good.
People who bash this country are the same people that talk bad about their moms. People who talk bad about where they live should simply do one thing...move. If I didn't like a place or felt truely that my leader was like Hitler..I would re-locate to another country...a better country...like maybe a country with a backbone..like France or Canada.
I have been to different countries...i know what it's like to see poor and starving children...I know what a third world police force and political corruption can do to a country that is not strong enough to fight back for freedom. I am glad and thankful I don't live there.
There are countries that will take your children at an early age and you will never see them again....ever. There are countries that will abort females because they only want males to be born for job opportunities and income reasons.
Yeah...I live in the USA...it may have its moments..but ya know what...who doesn't? I have experienced what others don't think about. I back this country up against any other because of the people that live here...Americans have been dieing for rights and land and freedom since this country started....I am proud and thankful to be an American...and I ALWAYS will be.
PEACE OUT
AND GOD BLESS

Games People Play

So everything in SOCAL is going well...we are not homesick over Michigan but we miss our friends and families more than you could imagine. It has been a year now and I have got a promotion and Michelle is at a salon that she enjoys and is doing quite well at. She is building clientle at a fast rate and is having a great time doing so. D's Birthday is on the 15th and my mom bought her a pair of Heelys. So I now have something else to worry about.
The reason for the beer pic is that Michelle and I are going to our first BREW FEST since we moved out here. Karl Strauss www.karlstrauss.com is having a big festival with bands and brew and we thought we'd check it out. I haven't brewed beer since I moved out here but it is something I did in the past that was enjoyable, educational and yummy at the same time. Believe it or not sometimes I wish that it didn't have alcohol in it so you could drink more...I just really like the taste of a cold microwbrew..it's like liquid food and it's good for you too as long as you don't have to drive anywhere.
To all our friends and families back in the midwest tundra, we will salute you, and toast to you this weeked and wish you were here with us. The poker, the games around the firepit, all the fun your heart could endure....games with friends. (sniff) miss you guys.
Peace Out and God Bless
