I Ain't No Holla'back Girl

So the Chargers lost...hopin' for Da Bears now... great games this weekend..The professors had a gig Saturday Night @ DreamStreet that went really well.
Can't wait until we make enough money to come home and see everybody. We are planning on Coast Guard week if we budget we may be able to pull that off.
Been playing alot of online poker at Pokerstars..just not the same as it was at Brents or Big Dogs or Brandons...and the people I play against aren't anywheres near to being as humorous as Steve and Andrea (where is our beer??nobody told them yet huh?)
We may be here for awhile but I can honestly say that no matter what happens we will never ever get the relationships and trust and good times that we had in Grand Haven MI.. That will always be home for us, regardless.
D&G&P are all doing well..D is doing awesome in school and is trying out for Veruca Salt in the school play(she's a ringer). Garrett is a video game junkie so we limit him to an hour a day w/ Mario and the fellas. Payton is the highest maintence kid I have ever seen in my life and we have established the fact that SHE DOES NOT SHARE WITH OTHERS. She grunts at you when she is mad...I am patient in hoping that one day soon her head will spin around and she will puke up green stuff, but until that day we will have to deal with her the best we can.
I don't know what happen to my blog before but it seems to be well now and in the future I will only post a new blog after 7 comments or thirty days or both.
San Diego would be alot better if we had more visitors or could afford to visit. The sun and the beach and the surroundings are great but alot of people lack the hospitality and friendliness when in comparison to the midwest...there are friendly people here and they ask me for money on every street corner...they talk constantly to no one and say please and thank you for no apparant reason...please check my next blog titled "Why would aliens need spare change?"

I love the picture of Payton. She looks very happy. I am sure as much as you want to come home and visit we all wish you would. Coast Guard is still a long time away. Glad the gig went well. How is the new job?

This post cracked me up. (about payton and all) .
everyone misses you too. And there is always the hope of you guys coming back. You are right, it would be hard with the lack of loved ones around and friends. I had a hard time in colorado, with no one to share my life with , and i mean my family. So i moved back.
Work has been slow here, seems like there are no jobs here anymore. Maybe im not looking hard enough. well. good to read an update.
cya soon.

Yea if you meet someone nice here, you met someone nice. If someone is being nice to you out there, you better hold on to your wallet! ;-)

If you wait too long to come back the kids aren't going to want to. You better hurry up before they put too many roots down, before you know it they will be teenagers and will stay there weather you leave or not. Then you will be one of those parents who have runaway kids in California.

Talk to you later.

Bet you sure miss all this snow we have now don't you!!!! Camper shows just aren't the same without you guys and the kids finding all thoses neat "spots" to hide in. If you do make it back this summer maybe we can take the trailer and some tents and camp for a couple of days. Trying to talk Jay into hauling the camper out west (so far not doing so good) Miss you all and Kendra said to give the kids a big hug and kiss for her!
