Let it Snow, Let it snow..let it snow..

I love this stuff..spent most of the morning snowblowing and shoveling out the salon..then our house. I think we got about a foot of snow at least. Due to some of the rude comments from some of my best friends, I guess I am going to have to blog more about more interesting stuff instead of church and gatherings and God. Seems I can't seem to make everyone happy.. and I do care. I blog about things that matter to me most. If I get called out....I'm not going to change what I blog about oh yeah (smiley face). Or how often I blog. My real friends are going to like me for who I am not for what I believe in. Sorry if this blog offends you but I gotta get it out.
I love the snow when the weather is above 20 degrees ( with the wind chill). I was contemplating taking my kids sledding today, but I think it might have to wait until tomorrow. Last night at the restaurant was a great time for all who showed up. We continue to get compliment after compliment on our new age jazzy musical arrangements, it sure is great playing with such inspiring and dedicated musician that never ceases to teach or learn from others. I've met a handful of musically talented people that claim to be good or great. What I have found is that the most humble musicians that I have met are in fact the most talented and always strive to learn more an more about that particular field. Kind of like an artist..they always feel that the paintings could be better or that this is not their best work..like they are never satisfied with the work that they do...people who say that they are good at something might be their own personal opinion..how good is good? How great is great? I guess it falls under the same ol',"You can't read a book by it's cover".
I've never been so good at something that I would tell people I was good. I have always just enjoyed sharing my gifts for others to enjoy. People have told me that I was good, but I remain humble...it helps me to continue to try and learn more. I haven't given any autographs yet but I have had kids dancing and alot of heads bobbing in the restaurant due to the rhythms and grooves that Tony and I are laying down. To me...when I can give someone the feeling of happiness or wanting to dance or even taking their minds off of something stressful and helping them to relax a little or groove alot....this is more important to me than being good or great. It gives me a feeling that I am sharing my gift of rhythm for others to enjoy.

The beat goes on...
and the groove makes you move.
Peace Out

When are you going to grow up and stop being a whine ass crybaby?

I don't care what you believe and I like you for who you are. I must admit it's hard sometimes with you being so sensitive and all... Your ok I'm ok. Blah, blah, blah.

I can't quite figure out why you can not see the forrest for the trees. I was only commenting that no one was commenting, and then proceeded to playfully spar with you.

Come on life is too short to be so serious. You know what my favorite saying is don't ya? F' em. If they can't take a joke.
